1). Saint Augustine’s Ghostly Experience Tour 

St Augustine is the oldest city in the state and a dream destination for Halloween enthusiasts. There are numerous locations throughout the city that harbor a dark history. Dive into these dark tales to learn more about haunted locations throughout the city.

Register for one of the numerous tours in the Saint Augustine area this Halloween, including haunted pub crawls, ghost tours, and paranormal investigations. Book your haunted tour in advance. 

Sign up for Saint Augustine’s Ghostly Experience Tour to explore several famous haunting sites throughout the city. Attendees are led throughout the experience by lantern light after dark. Adult tickets are $25, and admission is free for children under age 6. This unforgettable tour has been featured on the Discovery, History, and Travel Channel. 

2). Creatures of the Night at Alligator Farm 

The Alligator Farm of Zoological Park in St. Augustine is home to numerous creepy and crawly reptiles, mammals, crocodilians, birds, and insects. The park invites families to explore the zoo this Halloween to learn more about alligators, bugs, and other creatures that call the farm home. 

The event is a local favorite among families with children for providing an immersive, exciting, and educational trick-or treating-experience. Little ones are encouraged to wear their costumes and to pack a trick-or-treat bag to stock up on sweet treats throughout the park.

Visit the Alligator Farm this Halloween for the Creatures of the Night event on October 21st through the 23rd from 5:30 pm to 8 pm.

3). Visit the Old Jail 

Take a historical trip to visit the Old Jail. This building, constructed in 1891, is notorious for ghostly reports. Visitors have reported wailing, banging noises, unusual smells, and apparitions. The tour is not recommended for kids under the age of 13 and is more suitable for older teenagers and adults. 

Tours of the Old Jail will be available nightly from 12 am until 2:30 am during the Halloween season. 

There will also be an annual 5K that benefits an organization called Investing in Kids. The race will occur on Saturday, Oct. 22nd, at 7:30 am. 

4). Sykes Family Farms Crop Maze

Get the family together for a day out on the farm and navigate your way through a 9-acre crop maze. Explore the Sykes Family Farms crop maze and enjoy other fall-themed activities, including hayrides, farm animals, duck races, and more. 

The Sykes Family Farm also gives visitors the opportunity to invest in fresh vegetables, including pumpkins.  The farm is located at 5995 Brough Road, Elkton, FL. Hours of operation will commence every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout October. 

5). Ancient City Brewing Boos and Brews

Lace up your sneakers for a 5K race or 1-mile fun run on Saturday, October 29t at 5 pm. Coordinators of this Halloween event encourage runners to wear their Halloween costumes during the race. Every runner will receive several freebies for race participation.
